Work great for me too. Put a 4700lb engine in the bed and it just settled to what a regular truck looks like. The tires just flush with the fender of the bed not tucked or anything.

You could also install a set of airbags or Timbrens to cure that problem.
Before the Superduty the 250/350 where different(post 1980) but When the Superduty arrived in 1998 the F250/F350 became almost the same and some years they were the same.
In the future (2010) Ford will going back to a split line with F250 getting IFS and F350 with get the mono beam. something for everyone and a clear differance in ride and handling between models.
One other difference between the two is insurance and registration fees. Check your local DMV and insurance broker to make sure you aren't getting a big surprise later.
