I can't seem to find the answer i was looking for so i thought i would ask here i have a 2000 f350 7.3 with 140,000 i don't think the truck has had this service done to it as im the second owner the truck isn't running bad just figured it might be easier to do it now then went they start going south on me what is the best way to do this take it to a shop or just buy some of the cleaner from lucas or stp and just dump it into a tank.
and a ball park price on having a shop do it so i don't get screwed on it eather
welcome to FTE...the best way to clean dirty injectors is by taking them out...its not very common this needs to be done...if the truck runs good and doesn't smoke then just start using diesel clean in every tank..you will find this at walmart and most any fuel stop..it comes in a white and gray bottle..gray bottle for warm weather..white bottle if you live where winters are below 0.....
