Squeeky front end

Hey all. Anyone know whats causing my front suspension to squeek when turning the steering wheel? It mostly does it when it is hotter but it really does it all the time. It also squeeks when the truck bounces up and down such as after a speed bump. Whats causing this? It is very loud.....

1997 XLT Explorer 5.0 AWD 130k miles..

i have same problem, 01 150 4x4 190000k was thinking shocks, mybe no
i have put wd40 on all parts no good, good luck

Squeaks I have noticed on my 96 X were either the ball joints or the sway bar bushings where it attaches to the frame. Might want to crawl under while someone works the wheel to try to isolate the noise.

Sounds like ball joints to me. I thought shocks or bushings when mine went bad, too. Lubed everything up good, but couldn't get rid of the noise. Finally got down there and listened while someone bounced up and down on the front bumper and isolated it to the passenger side upper ball joint. It was an easy repair at least.
