There is a difference!!

Alway's learning a lesson; darn nearly daily.
Last week; I broke my steering column lever for my auto shifter. Went to pull a parts; found a solid 77 model; with P/S and didn't think twice about removing the column; looking at the P/S and dreaming. Mines a manual setup;Well I pulled it and once home' I realize its about 3" shorter than a manual column.
Had to swap(remove) the steering rod shaft from my manual to my new column.
Wasn't that difficult but was a lesson learn.

I sure others are laughing; but just wanted to past on the lesson.

Lol yeah dude, ive had that problem before. Thinking the part I pulled from the junkyard will fit my truck, but the good thing is most problems are easily sorted out by swapping minor parts to make it fit.
