Running lights & Switch

I have gone through, now my 3rd Headlight/Parling light switch in 18 months on my 90' F-250.
Normally the headlights continue to function properly, however the running/Parking lights quit working!

Now I have a Camper and Horse trailer connected, which will obvioulsy draw some power through this switch. I spoke with Ford, who informed me that there is only 1 switch, no Heavy duty replacements. He also said he had heard of this and that some people were running a Relay too operate their parking lights. I've seen articles on Relay setups for the Headlights anything on the Parking lights?

Has anybody done this? If so could you supply any info?

Thank you!

It would work the same as the headlight system up-grade.

There is an article in the tech area called "Whiter whites > brighter Brights"
