Unknown pin
When I was putting in the plugs and rebuilding the shifter on the top cover of my M5od transmission, a small pin fell out. The pin is about 1/4 inch long, the thickness of a dime and rounded on both ends. I studied the transmission diagrams and all the forks in the top cover, but can not identify this pin. I went ahead and reinstalled the cover and it seems to work fine without the pin, but I am worried it might be a problem waiting to happen. Does any one have any idea what this pin might be and where it would go on the top cover? Thanks
