95 v6 4.0 intake question
i want to put a new intake in my truck, but i could only find the intake filters. i cant find the tubing for it. can i use the original stock tubing? or is there another truck or year that its tubing will fit on my 95 ranger v6 4.0?

dont understand what you are trying to do. do you want to put an aftermarket type on with free flow or are you wanting to replace an original intake?
I have a streetsmart free flow on my 94 it was for a 97 but fit with no problems. I also have all the old stuff from my 94 if that is what you are trying to do.

Try K&N filters.com, they have intakes for some of the eariler rangers. Actually, 95 - 97 should all be close to being the same, you may have to fab something here or there, but all should be close if not the same.

streetsmart design is where I got mine, the chrome tube the filter and the mount. It is for a 97 the upper rad hose sites a little lower on them but I had no problem with it on mine. Had to fab a support from the rad front crossmember to the MAF other than that nothing. Sits just behind the passenger headkight in the engine compartment. Mine are all highway miles so I dont have the heat shield they sell. When I spoke to them they said if its highway ainly dont need those only work in town slow driving situation where the air flow is fairly low and hot.
