little dissapointed
well i went to the drag strip yesterday, and i was a little disappointed. i ran when the truck was stock and i got 17.9 as a best time. i was consistent in the 18's tho. well i ran for the first time yesterday with the dp tuner. the best time i turned was 17.8. i launched at about 7 pounds of boost. i am just curious as to what anyone else is getting with their trucks.

One of my guys was about there all stock. But let me ask you this. What else have you done to your truck. Yeah, the DP should do a little better, but there are other factors. Fuel psi, did you shim the fuel pressure regulator? Screen clean? Do you still have the stock down pipe?

Just from my experience, by the time guys usually step up to a good tuner, they've already done every other mod you can possibly do. And with that, they usually get a little better results at the track. I don't know, that's just my thoughts. And you may have already done all that. If that's the case, I have no answer for you man.

well i got a full exhaust turbo back. tymar intake. havent checked the screen. ill have to do that. and no i didnt spin the tires, i launched in 4 wheel drive. and the tranny wasnt slipping.
