Looking at your sig, I doubt adding a pusher pump would make enough extra power that you could feel the difference. Which basically means it would be less than 20, if any at all.
I did it for the exact reason Guzzle stated on his web page. My rediculously oversized pre pump filter was eating my stock fuel pumps at a rate of about once every 18 months. My last pump change was in the spring of 06, so the pusher has done it's job.
In retrospect, if fuel delivery becomes an issue the best resouloution would be to relocate the stock, or upgraded, high pressue fuel pump to the fuel tank. Dan (Kwikkordead) has some good pics of the conversion he did to his truck. If, or when my current setup fails I'll order a big Bosch pump and mount it in the tank.
what would i need? the pump, filter, here is a really really really stupid stupid question, what is the thing called that the filter screws on to? for some reason i can't think of it
priced one at local napa it was a shade under a 100,and get a 6637 or a stage 2 air intake you will notice a diff. and like scott said moding can become to moded.
if the pusher pump is $100 it self i would also say go with Kwiks method ... the Bosch pump that i have in my tank ran about $120 plus tax from advance auto. and let me tell you there is a difference in fuel dilvery.
Is there a part number or anything so i know i get the right pump? Is there a write up on this mod anywhere? You gain any power from this mod?

Scott, what kinda of setup did you have? I have the stock fuel pump with a filter before it. Was that what was eating up your stock fuel pump? I've had my filter on for about 6k and hadnt had any problems yet. The filter I have is a big @zz Baldwin filter with a drain. I forget the number off the top of my head. I guess if the pump craps out I will go with Dans pump mod!
Leonard aka FordTruckNoob has a list of parts in this thread. Post #86 is the beginning of list. Click Here Also jump back to page one for the great write-up.
