No. It's on the fenced in lot of the wrecker service next door. Of course both businesses are owned by the same person as you probably know.

I haven't seen the telephone pole, but I feel pretty confident it had to be replaced most likely.

And it will be a perfect time to have a front end alignment done too, eh?

I will have to wait and see if the insurance company totals it.

If I recall correctly, the piece you speak of is actually pretty cheap from FORD.

And to think, all he was trying to do was remove the Ford emblem on the grill

Look carefully at the tow hooks - they were dragged inward - the frame's bent.

The reason the wheels still look reasonably straight is the solid front axle wasn't bent

Mine is in the bodyshop right now, driver's side sheet metal from B post to rear corner, a couple of roof sections, floor pan under back seat has a dent the size of a golf ball, both driver's side wheels, a set of tires and the running board. $15,000 per the adjuster and the insurance company said fix it.

The front half of the frame unbolts from the back-part, so it is in theory fixable.

If the cabin is not distorted, I'd say a fix is possible.

Ya know...with the falling prices of our trucks...it is kind of scary that if one of us were to get into a bad accident...a $40K+ stickered truck just a few years old is in real danger of getting totaled by the insurance Co's!...

I'm glad RoyC indicated that $15,000 is still fixable in the insurance Co's mind for an '05 limited PSD...kind of makes you wonder where the threshold is...

If the value is there, they will fix it.
