Steering

A few weeks ago I ran the power steering fluid low and the truck now darts back and forth with the slightest touch of the wheel. I was thinking air in the system, but after a couple hundred miles driving I thought the air would have worked its way out. Maybe I have another problem that someone might have some input for me.

Have you done several lock to lock turns to extract air from the system..........

One of the Dodges at the shop just started doing that, time for a new steering box.

I was thinking that a new box was in order. Someone told me there was a bleeder on some Ford boxes, but I have never heard of such a thing.

All it takes to bleed the steering box is about two cycles from left lock to right lock and back.
