Hpop Doing Wierd Things!!!!
The plug on the galley below the IPR valve blew out. Replace it without removing the pump from the truck.
Now the pump will NOT build pressure...
Replaced the IPR valve with another new one I have...
Still no Pressure
Removed pump and inspected everything....
Bench check and it seems to work properly...
Plenty of oil in Galley
Truck Ran perfectly up till the removal of the plug to put new o ring on it.
Ran 1 hour before plug was removed and replaced....
Have NO idea why it wil not build oil pressure...
Brand new oil 50 miles before removal and replacement...
The pump was a reman last summer...
It has me stumped and a friend that works at local ford stump likewise.
Any and all suggestions/help will be appreciated.
What trouble a small o-ring can cause.
