Banjo Rear End

Anyone Have A 40's Style Ford Banjo Rear End For Sale Or A Ring And Pinion In Nice Shape. I Am In Need Of One For My Dads 1946 Halfton Pick-up. I Live By Green Bay Wi. Willing To Drive 100-150 Miles To Get It.

the only thing i've seen or know about is a fella over on ol' skool who has the torque tube banjo and a bunch of other parts for sale that sounds like it might be out of a late 40's truck . dont know for sure . he's in upstate NEW YAWK!!! though .................

Mark, to help shed some light on what you are looking for that rear axle fits only '42 to very, very early '48 half ton pickups ONLY. The pinion has a tapered shaft and a woodruff key so torque tube parts will not work. Tom

i talked to rod over there on the other site and they are both torque tube passenger car rears . one was prewar the other a 46 pass car . sorry !!!!!!!! he had some truck parts listed and i just wasnt paying attention as usual ....................
