It does the same as the Dfuser 18k mod, except it is on all the time. I had a Dfuser and you can definitely tell a difference. It boosts high pressure oil. The Dfuser allows you to adjust the resistance.

Does it idle nice, or like crap?

Does it really boost EGT's to 1400 as fast as it says??

I guess this mod is still in the "guinea pig" stage....

Search google for "powerstroke diode clamp mod".

Only problem I read of is a slight hiccup releasing throttle when at high RPM's.

C'mon, the beans need more spilling than that...

How was the power?

Idling was good you said?

** Gulp ** Any fuel mileage difference???

I read a few places that the EGT's can raise quickly, no?

Any opinion for me and the gang?

i would think if you have a TS or DP..there would be no need to do this mod and most likely not safe to do it..im sure if you call ether of them guy's this mod is done though the tuner...It maybe of some help to the super chip..its just a box to fool the PCM for more fuel...

Couple weeks ago I asked about the Dfuser mod since I had seen one on ebay and thought it might work. Got several responses, some for, most against. Now I'm thinking I might try it, but not sure if the temps really scream up there like some have said. I know most folks here are DP owners, but I'm about 300 shy of getting one. All I need is some aditional power (HP and q and hopefully a little mpg increase).
