adjustable rocker arm swap
Can rocker shafts from a 390 with a non adjustable hydraulic setup be converted to an adjustable rocker operation just by swapping rocker arms?

Years of clogged gunk in the old rocker shafts. Any gauling or excessive wear on shafts, stands or rockers. Adjusters on the stock adj rockers should yield a 7ft lb breakaway tq value. Note oil holes in rocker shafts go in the down postion when you assemble. Note proper waver washer install and use new cotter pins in the ends if they are not aftermarket C clip type. Overall a good check up, clean and parts inspection.
