Rear gear change?

thanks to the forum, I was able to buy a1990, Superduty. It was sitting for a year and 175 miles from home. My wife and I searched all the problems we were having, printed the infor, and after 2 days of replacing, got her started and drove home! Now the question. It has a 5spd and I'm guessing 5.13's. At 60 mph I was going 2600-2700 rpm's, needless to say I want to change to 410's or something more hwy! I was told this truck has a dana 80? What would be my rpm's with this gear change and how much would it cost?

the truck has 67,020 miles,7.3 ,10 bolt rims, straight front axle and rides like a buckboard wagon!

5.13 does work out to 61.5 MPH at 2600 with 31" tires and a ZF 5.
4.10 would work out to 76.9 MPH at 2600 with 31" tires and a ZF 5.

i believe that 410's is the highest i can go without changing the carrier? I wish I could gear her at 3.73 and put a turbo on, oh well.....

A 1990 Super Duty is an F 450.

10 lug wheels

And you are correct, the Dana book lists 4.10 and up or 3.73 and down as the break point on carriers.
