Alright everybody. In my sig you can see that I am seriously into Stereo systems. And now that the wifes truck is almost done, I starting to look for something else.
What I am looking for is a cheap, did I say cheap? Running Ford Explorer or Ranger. It needs to run to the point of getting it's self on and off a trailer. It doesn't need to smog or have good interior. I would like it to be major damage free, dings and dents are cool even a new fender type of work is ok.
I'm looking for one of those 3-500 dollar deals.
So if anyone knows of someone looking to get rid of the eye sore in the driveway let me know.
hey bro a friend of mine has a ranger that just needs a freeze plug put in it i'll see what he wants for it may be up your alley since it's here in north highlands i'll shoot you my number in a P.M. talk to you later

Well, I've got one, but it's not going to be a $3-500 thing. It's a '73 hiboy 4wd with a fresh 360 rebuild. You'd be getting a NP205, T-18, 4:11, RV cam, and a lot of other good stuff. I could sell each part for $3-500.
I don't want to drive it yet, it needs new U joints and I would want to convert to front disc brakes. Somebody ready to invest some wrenching may be getting a bargain.

That sounds to be the type of action I'm looking for.
Even one of those old ford couriers would work.

Make me an offer I can't refuse.
That sounds like a hell of a truck. Building a classic isn't what I'm looking to do.
This project is going to be an all out sound machine. So I don't want to cut up a classic. It would break my heart to destroy something worth fixing up
on hwy 99 south of peltier on east side there are a pair of trucks for sale, one is black the other is green. dont know the asking price, never had time to stop and look/ask.
I've checked a few on craigslist. It would be nice to get one that a 16yo hasn't gotten his hands on and modified yet.
I'm not in a huge hurry to find one. The 1st show I would have it at would be Autorama. So as long as I pick one up before say Outober, I will have plenty of time to get it together.
Yeah, wisdom teeth...I was so sure I was going to be able to drive home after getting them cut out of my head
Oh Sure...I didn't know if I was UP, DOWN or SIDEWAYS when I came to...so much for my driving skills...
I had to get practically carried out on a stretcher I was so messed up...I didn't like it at ALL.
Take care, lay low, this too shall pass...

Jose Cuervo and windy dirt roads do NOT go together....my friend spent an entire weekend fixing fences HE had run over... Me? I was just an innocent passenger that couldn't get his door open in the ditch...
