I changed my factory auto hubs to the Warn lock outs, and the passenger side axle still turns, driver side is still and transfer shaft is still, even if i take hub out completely, it still turns. My wife say's have you ask your FTE friends yet. I said no not yet. So what do ya thinkit is guys and girls, why won't it set free?

When you say, passenger side axle still turns, what do you mean? It still turns when what happens? Still turns when you rotate the wheel?
Ok, theres a couple issues then. One, if you jack up that wheel, and rotate it, and ONLY that shaft turns.... You got issues. Hopefully, either the driveshaft, or the other side axle shaft turns. Thats the first thing well need to know. If when you turn that wheel, and neither the other side axleshaft turns, nor the driveshaft, more then likely you either have a broken axleshaft, or stripped out spider gears.(in the front differential) Thats issue one. Issue two, on the back side of the unit bearing, there is an axle bearing. Its about a $10 bearing, and can be had at napas. More then likely, that bearing is siezed up, and forcing your axleshaft to follow the wheels motion. Like I said, its a $10 bearing, and completely replaceable. Just remove your unit bearing, and replace that axle bearing. That should solve your trouble. Hope that helps.
Just want to thank Rebel for great info and FTE. I PM Rebel early this morning, just to follow up, took unit bearing out and sure enough needle bearing fell apart, got it all cleaned up and getting ready to go to NAPA, going to get other side bearing also, do them both. I will say this the factory ESOF hub has let in a lot of water and dirt. I have a brand new set of Warns, they should seal better. Truck has 99,000 on it, I highly recommend any one checking these bearings. Thanks again Reb Reps to ya!
