i'm looking at intakes for my 300 and i've got a (hopefully) pretty simple question... clifford 4 bbl vs. offy 4 bbl...is one better than the other or are they the same? o yes, nearly forgot, they're both single plane manifolds, to keep things even. i would assume that there would really be no real difference but maybe someone out there knows something i don't...
offenhauser has the Dp intake which has segmented intake passiges for the primaries and secondaries.
small for the primaries to promote vacum and air velocity
large for secondaries to get the air and fuel at wot
that seems to be the big choice right now.
clifford has one with a water passage in the intake, two 4 bbls.
Offy also has a plain jane 4 bbl for the 300 w/o the seperate passages.
