Wierd problem????

I have a 97 F350 crewcab with 192k on it and have a problem.Sometimes it won't start on the front tank.It will crank but wont fire.If I switch it to the rear tank it fires right up,then I switch to the front tank and it will run.It has happened a few different times.Any suggestions what to look at first?Anyone with a simmilar problem?
Any help would be great.

Heres an update.Just went out to move it and it was doing it on both tanks now.I did get it to start by pushing down on the gas pedal and it fired up.

Anybody??????

Sounds like an air leak making you lose prime. Is the valley wet. How old is the rubber line from supply hard line to low pressure pump. Maybe the low pressure side of the pump going out?
