retarding a cam

I have a doubt in the subject above, for someone who knows this stuff i have an extreme energy cam with 270 int 280 ext cam with 110 lobe centerline and 106 intake centerline angle with this timming :
The Intake Valve Opening Angle is 29 degrees BTDC

The Intake Valve Closing Angle is 61 degrees ABDC

The Exhaust Valve Opening Angle is 74 degees BBDC

The Exhaust Valve Closing Angle is 26 degrees ATDC

by retarding this camshaft 4 degrees i should asume as if i had a lobe centerline of 114 and intake centerline angle of 110 ? and this new timming ?:

The Intake Valve Opening Angle is 25 degrees BTDC

The Intake Valve Closing Angle is 65 degrees ABDC

The Exhaust Valve Opening Angle is 78 degees BBDC

The Exhaust Valve Closing Angle is 22 degrees ATDC

Danlee you know alot about the subject, or anyone else... thanx

Yes the events should move just as much. In fact degreeing by the opening and closing events is the only way I would degree a cam. Many moderen cam designs do not have the same opening ramp shape as they do on the exh. One of the easyest way to look at what happens when you play with the cam timing is to imagane the torque and hp curve pivoting on their peaks.
Any cam card that showes max lifts as 107int and 117 exh has 5 degrees of advance ground into it. and that cam would have a lobe seperation angle of 112 degrees. Most cams companys put some advance into most of their cams.
