A warning to you guys. Do not order anything from dabears2k.com. I ordered 2 sets of lights in January and they never worked. It took me 7 months to get ahold of him again and return the lights for a refund. Now he has the lights and my money and wont give me a refund. He said he will send the broken lights back to me at my expense or trash them but I will not get a refund. $450 wasted! Beware
I did not use paypal, I paid through his website. There is no other side to this story. The lights I got had the Hi/Low beams reversed and killed my battery when the truck sat for a few days. Then they started to stay on when the truck was off or not work when the truck was on. He says they tested fine so he wont give me a refund. Doesnt make sense to me.

I don't know either of you guys and have never bought from dabears but with what you have posted there it sounds like they were wired to the truck improperly, certainly not the sellers fault. Lights just don't magically come on unless they have a power source.
One thing to consider. The 9004 and 9007 sockets are the same, but the ground is in a different location. If the kit was setup for 9004 operation out of the box and you didn't change the wiring, then it worked as it was installed, but not correctly for the vehicle. I've dealt with several kits that were sold as 9004, but with a couple of small tweaks were also sold as 9007 kits.
I've known him personally for a few years and, ummmm......yah. He's been banned from 2 other forums I used to be on.
Good luck getting your money back. I looked at his site and he has a bunch of loopholes to get himself out of refunding money. You don't necessarily have to get a lawyer, but sometimes threats and letters can work wonders.

I filed a complaint with he Better Business Bureau against him. He sent the lights back to me (at my expense) and there isnt really any more that I can do.
Drew....I don't know from firsthand experience (I haven't bought mine yet), but I've heard nothing but good stuff from HID4U on ebay. I wouldn't give DABEARS the time of day, let alone any of my money
