Ride will be pretty much the same since you'd have the same shocks and stock springs either way.

RCD makes a nice 2" hanger and shackle.....not on our store yet and it's a little more money than the mini spring pack.

FYI, ill jump in on the shock buying also. Im ready to buy right now. Been needing to do this for while, im tired of bouncing down the road, lol. Had bils on my tacoma and they were amazing.
BTW DC, where are you in IL? im in schaumburg, maybe i can just pick these up from you?
Also, The 5100s i ordered for my tacoma came in a nickel coating. I see on your site they are yellow. Is there a way to get the nickel color? I may just get 5150s if there is a FTE discount

I'm in IL (nothern Lake County)....but Truck Toyz is in McAllen, TX.
For the SD, the stock height 5100s are yellow with blue boots. The lifted app shocks are the zinc with black boots like these:

The benefit of the 5100s is that they are valved specifically for the SD while 5150s have generic valving.
Unfortunately we really don't have any play room on Bilsteins to discount them beyond our regular pricing.

Then Ill just get the ones for a lifted app. I plan to put the X code springs on anyway. I hope to be ok with that. I just really dont like the look of the yellow with light blue. How soon can I expect the order to be fullfilled? I have everything in the cart and ready to rock.

One thing I've thought about doing when I get some Bilsteins for my 07 is to clear coat them prior to installing......just to help keep the salt from eating them in the winters.
Or, you could just make sure they have a heavy coat of WD-40 or similar on it prior to driving in the salt.....then wash, rinse, repeat.
