Another Elecrical Problem

Thanks to all for your help in diagnosing my electrical problem (parasitic drain). It turned out to be in the alternator/voltage regulator circuit. Anyhow, now I have another mystifying (at least to me) problem. After I fixed that problem, I tried to figure out why my radio quit working. In doing so, I checked the fuses and I took out my instrument panel and rerouted a couple of wires. Couldn't get it working so I put it all back together. Now my turn signals, brake lights, heater and dash lights don't work! I have power on both sides of those fuses and I can't find anything that's unplugged. The truck starts and charges correctly and the lights work. Help!

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 04-Jan-03 AT 01:41 PM (EST)]All the stuff mentioned is fed power from the light switch. Advance Auto Parts has the light switch for $12.00. Dry test it by connecting the plug to it without mounting it and don't put any electrical connector grease on it. If it doesn't work take it back and tell them your's must be a P.O. changeout because the plug is different. If you tell them you connected it though your stuck with it (normally).
(Edit) Also does your windshield washer fluid pump work?? The power for the heater comes from the same place, the instrument panel, which you said you took off. Being an Electronic Technician for the last 10 years the hardest lesson to learn was to look first with what you messed with last.
