Head Stud Blowout

Just wondering if anyone has experienced a HG blowout when using studs and if so - under what circumstance? Just curious

I've never heard of that happening but if you put bad heads on with the studs it could happen. warped or cracked. You will have more problems out of the egr system after the stud than anything.

not very common at all but it does happen under circumstances like BIG-FUGIMO said and also if the studs were installed incorrectly, or if you boost over 50 psi

I believe lubeowner boosts his twin turbo setup around 60psi on a studded engine with the stock head gaskets....so why can't you take it to just 50? lol
