Click click click....(noise)
Click click click....(noise)
Well, I suppose I had two problems now, the first one helped the second one be heard. After replacing the bent push rods, there is only one noise left, click click click. Finally I had my brother to start the truck and one by one I d/c the injectors on the drivers side(thats where the noise was apparent) and turns out with the #2 injector unplugged the click is gone. That one plugged in, no matter which injector on the drivers side I unplug the noise is there. Click click click.....Funny thing, that injector is a reman!
My question is this, my first injector went bad, and I could not hear a bit of difference in the way the truck sounded, this injector goes bad, I hear this new clicking noise. Did the regulated return make it so I could hear the click, or did this one fail a different way?

I'm inclined to agree with Farmboy right now, but I'll throw this out there for comments. Is it possible the regulated return made the engine quiet enough to hear the click now? I don't know how loud your clicking is (my speakers must be broken)
Injectors can also fail in different ways. Maybe the #2 fried it's electrical portion last time and wasn't firing at all, and this time it's a mechanical issue causing the click. How old is the injector? You have to keep in mind that reman (or new for that matter) doesn't always = good.
