OK, my Lie-O-meter stopped working the other day when the GF took the truck for the day. There just doesn't seem to be any readings/lights on. I swear something always happens when I lend my rig out to her! Is there a specific fuse that powers this? I imagine that the wiring is all clips, so I can't really see that coming apart? Anybody have a link to the threads about this topic or an inkling on where I should start? Thanks in advance.
Barry, Chris, Rick. Thanks for the replies. Rick I checked all wheel already, no luck. Anyways thanks for the links fellas. That is a great write up in that post, and should keep me busy this weekend, with the oil change, and the cleaning....
It works, I done mine twice and two others. The only reason I did mine twice was I thought superglue would work as well as solder...NOT. It appears that heat will cause superglue to give way. Go ahead and use solder. Be careful when removing the console as the resistor may be completely loose and fall out. They are very small and easily lost. A solder pen is a must, a good eye is a must. The area you are working with is very small. Easy enough to do, just a little tedious for me.
I have no doubt you can do it, the instructions were clear enough for me to follow. The pictures he has will prove your best tool. Good luck and do let us know.
