SPARKPLUG WIRES

Whats the difference in 7,8 or 9mm sparkplug wires? What is commonly used on a stock ignition system? Whats the difference in voltage delivery and resistance in the different sizes?

SPARKPLUG WIRES

The higher the voltage that the ignition system operates at, the more important the insulation of the plug wires becomes. Think Ford started using the 8 when the durospark boxes came out. The resistence wouldn't be different. I think using a bigger distributor cap is more important then the wire size.
