Finally
Pics and more info when i drive er home.Hopefully the cheap price doesnt let me down with repairs too quickly! Ah wel even if it does it was cheap enough.
I was thinking of looking at a 98 Mack tractor but since it`s no Louisville I haven`t yet.
Maybe if I could find a nice low mileage Lousiville at a good price I might just be interested (even in my almost semi retirement mode).
Specs. 444 cummins (might be good, might not be, kinda a toss up) with, you guessed it, 444 horsepower.
15 speed e/f tranny.
Not sure on the fronts, but has 44 rears.
The body of it is in pretty good shape. The drive tires are ok, and Im not sure about the steers. It is pup equipped and still has the pintle on it. Aluminum bud rims all the way around, and after being a tire guy, I can tell you how much i love buds over daytons!
16 foot box on it.
Its blue with a silver box, and dual stacks.
For 8 grand I doubt I could get a 16 foot box in decent shape. I figure if it doesnt end up being what i want, I can easily double my money on it around here.
Morris watch how new of a mack you go with. The newer ones werent half as good as the older ones were, and they supposedly had lots of probles with the wiring because they used light wires.
