dually d60 front

well ive finally got the money for a d60 front, and im looking for one that is a dually front, but it is kinda hard to find one. so my question is what all is the difference between a SRW front, and a DRW front. is it just the hubs? my buddy has some hubs of a DRW front he has, could i just swap those over to a SRW front and be done with it, or do i need the shafts too.

or should i just hold out for a DRW front?

thanks,Austin

Just change the hubs and be done with it.

Most people take the DRW hubs off and go to SRW for wheeling.

Austin, did you forget? I have some SRW hubs on Rockee with spacers for the dually. If they interchange, I'll swap you.

hey cody this is for an upcoming update to the blue truck. i dont think im gonna convert to a dually on the tan truck right now. but i got a d70 for the rear, and im looking for a d60 dually front for the blue truck, its gonna get stretched back out, and get a longbed, and become my work truck. its just not economical for me to have that truck sitting for long periods like it does. and i possibly could be 4linking the back with some air bags.

it will end up being my end of summer/winter project.

Austin, I'm only gonna say this cuz we're the best of friend, plus you'll be at my house all weekend. YOU ARE OUT OF YOUR FREAKIN' GORD! But you are a glutten for punishment, so have at it. I bet Toby would buy the boggers.

ok i might be reading this wrong but are you putting 2 tires on each side of a front axle?

if so that seams really odd to me.......

or are you just putting a rim that looks like it is off a dually truck but still only one rim?

Sounds like he is doing a real dually conversion for a 70's era truck. Real bud rims for a real dually truck. . .none of that after market spacer crap.

That what I got out of it anyways. . .

hahahaha hell no, all though dual rear tires on the front would kinda be cool, it wont happen in my lifetime. and yes im doing a dually conversion and am having a hard time locating a factory d60 dually front. im gonna pic up a KPD60 front next week, and put the factory DRW front hubs on it.
