92 4.0
I have been having so much trouble with 97 3.0 that I was looking for a good parts truck when I happened onto a good (really good body ) for a 92 the only thing is it has the 4.0 with a rod threw the oil pan. does anyone have any input on how hard and expensive it would be to rubuild this engine. any input...should add I haven't been in on an engine overgaul in about 22 years

Huge changes in the last 22yrs. If you don't have a digital camera I suggest that you buy one now. It's not the engine so much as all the vacuum lines and sensors.
