Instrument cluster swap

I found an '89 Bronco at the junkyard but didn't have time to remove the cluster. Can I replace my '90 F150 300 I6 E4OD cluster (no tachometer or trip odometer) with a tachometer cluster from an '89 Bronco 302 AOD and have everything work ok? I know my PRNO21 will be replaced by PRNOD1 because of the AOD, but is there any other difference that would prohibit this swap or make it more involved. I don't want to go back there and buy the cluster if it won't work. Thanks.

The gearshift readout area is removable. Should be able to swap yours into the 89 cluster.

You should be able to also move your speedo and milage counter over to the tach cluster, the modules just unplug from the cluster housing.

I haven't had the truck long, I'm not even sure how many times my current odometer has looped around. It reads 29,600, but I'd be willing to bet the truck has more like 229,600 or even 329,600.

on the newer model clusters with the tachs you will see a v8 symbol and they will not work because i have oersonally tried it but i am not sure on 91 and older since they arent digital spedo's and etc.
