Air suspension compressor on while driving??

Air suspension compressor on while driving??
Hi,
I recently bought an 03 Navigator. My air suspension compressor has been coming on once in a while, while driving...is this normal? It doesn't seem to stay on for too long. When I get in the car am I supposed to be waiting until the compressor turns off to start driving?
Also for some reason my mirrors go crazy when I unlock the car and move all the way in one direction and start clicking until i press on the mirror to stop it...they don't seem to stay in the memory either?
looking for any answers.
