lesson learned...

take apart your engine BEFORE buying parts if you dont know what size they are supposed to be.

long story short: ive been taking apart my engine, already had the parts here (re-ring kit). come to find out, the new rod bearings i have are .020 smaller then the ones that were on already. i didnt know and just put standard size when i ordered them.

That's a good reminder to those who don't work on engines much. It seems like a no brainer but it happens all the time. Never order parts like rod & main bearings or pistons & rings until all of the inspection is complete.
