Aero eats PET bags.....
It was an experiment. I tried to measure acceleration with and w/o air filter. Got an old police speed gun asked GF to help.
Last time I tried to accelerate w/o air filter and removed hood I reved engine up and engine sucked in small plastig bag that was leaved in engine compartemnt near A/C refrigerant reservouar.
I got missfire and rought idle for some seconds, then boom twice, black smoke and then engne started running like nothing happened.... Plastic bad was burned in engine... like a fuel!!!
Draw all the day today. runs really well.

ouh yeah, nearly new cat... I.m surprized that bag came frome engine causing no problem.
Ones I fixed used 3.0, owner sad that he had intermediate missfire and nocking sound, but engine easilly passed emission test, compression was good... Well, pulling engine out and tring to pull camshaft. I can pull for a half only. I found a clote reelled around cam.

a cloth? how the heck to you get cloth stuck on the cam shaft... i mean, even IF you were using one to keep your fingers clean, how would you not remember to remove it as you insert the cam into the block?? jeeeeeeze, pplz these days... lol
