Are your calipers releasing, My wifes '99' F250 was doing what you are discribing,Vibration off and on turned out to be one of the front brake calipers. Replaced both calipers no more shaking. And the shaking was not happenimg when applying the brakes. Maybe something to look at.

With the hubs unlocked, reach around back and try turning the axle u-joint by hand - it should be somewhat hard to get moving, but be smooth and not gritty or ratchety...
I might have already said this in this thread...
On top of the needle bearing causing the axle stub to rotate with the wheel, you have have a bad u-joint in the front axles... or something.

Well I think I finally tracked down the problem. I went ahead and ripped apart the front end and took out the unit bearing/hub assembly. When you would shake it, it had a rattle sound to it. It also had some play back and forth. I didn't think it was alot but I figured with the wide tires and the weight of the stroker that any movement would be noticed. I took it for a road test aroung the block but don't have enough space to get up to highway speeds. I will test drive it on the interstate and let you guys know what I found out. I got my fingers crossed that this takes care of it.
