Got some complaining to do
Not with FTE or any of teh members of course, but with Skyjacker. I ordered a set of there hydro shocks.. install was a breeze. Put them on about 1500 miles ago. So here lately i've been hearing a rattle in the front end when going over a slight bump and decided to go searching. Turns out the bushing on the top of the driverside was wearing apart, not gone but bad. Shook it but it wasnt the noise i was lookin for. Out of curiosity i go to check the other side. The ENTIRE bushing is gone. the bolt is fine so there's no way it fell off. The whole bushing more or less desinegrated (sp.) on me. I had to get this out before i call skyjacker with a nice little story. Shoulda taken ya'll's advice and gone with the Bilsteins.

I guess they will replace it under warranty but who's to say that the replacement shocks won't do the same thing. What a bummer, I hate that kind of crap, regardless if it's a truck part or anything else. Sorry to hear.

i just put a set on the other night and my install was everything but a breeze!! i didnt realize that the top bolts had pre done metal bushings so i spent a hour gettin um out of the rubber bushings! i hope those bushings dont do that on me but if they do live and learn ya know... i am pleased with the ride of these shocks i was kinda surprised!! i hate to hear it will let me know hey they handle the problem
