Computer Bad
I have a 2002 F150 4.6 V8. I think the computer might be bad. It isn't running very good (feels like a cylinder misfire), but the check engine light is not on. We hooked 3 different OBDII up to the computer and all of them say, please connect to computer, so it is not getting any kind of reading. Any suggestions. If you have any feedback on new computers to buy also let me know. Thanks

It is highly unlikely that there is anything wrong with your computer.
Check the fuse for the cigar lighter (look in your owner's manual). It also supplies power used by the scan tools for power at the OBDII port and, when blown, will not let most scanners connect to the computer.
