Leaking Heater Core

Can anyone tell me the best way to replace the heater core on a 1989 F150 XLT, 5.0 V8, with AC. do I need to go through the dash or under the hood?

Leaking Heater Core

Unhook the hoses under the hood and remove the glove box. then you will see a panel with about 5 to 7 5/16th head screws holding it to the heater box. remove panel and there she is. Takes longer to get hoses off than it does to get core out.
