rear driveshaft
This can be a difficult item to ship, and shipping itslef brings upon some potential for damage. Only the slightest ding would create a problem, and put you right back where you started.
The secound potential pitfall would be the cost of shipping itself. This longbed shaft is pretty long, so unless you find one a few doors down, you will probably pay as much in shipping as the used shaft is probably worth.
Buying a used shaft will probably require the installation of new joints, and if theis is of a double cardan design, could get a little spendy. Add this to expsnsive shipping costs, and take into account that a lifted truck might require a different length shaft, and the variables might not make this the best choice for a shaft.
If you find a local driveshaft shop, you can have a complate shaft made for not much more than, and perhaps about the same as buying a used shaft off of the internet.
Here in my area (So. Ca) custom driveshafts similar to this run about $300.00 (US).
This was what I paid for my last unit, and the guys hooked me up with same day service.
A complete brand new custom length shaft that was made stronger than my previous shaft.
Anyway, as a suggestion, you may look at local salvage yards first, if you must go used, but this is a category of parts that fall on my "do not buy used list", and check with your local driveshaft shop. These parts are quite a bit more reasonable than most think.
