Exhuast tips on newer Explorers?

Has anyone put a shiny exhaust tip on 05 - 08 Explorers yet?

I would like to keep the stock exhaust (up to the tailpipe tip) until the warranty expires, but I hate the look of the stock tail pipe.

I keep the 07 looking pretty nice, but the ugly tail pipe sucks.

Any suggestions on nice looking tips? Some of the sponsor's here have hard sites to navigate, so input from anyone with exhaust tip experience would be helpful.

Take a look at our tip selection and find something you like.

Catalog Items

A few tips that have been popular on Explorers and Jeeps are:
WF-040 oval
WF-041 soft square
WF-070 Bevel Square
TF1-225 Carbon Fiber (not currently listed, not sure why, I'll have that one added back on, I think they forgot to relist it when we ran out of them)

Get one from a Mountaineer (Premier). The tip is a brushed stainless steel that cleans up nicely with steel wool. The factory tip can be unclamped where it curves over the rear-end but it's kind of a pain to get to.

Yeah, the problem is really the tight location. If you modify the factory tailpipe you can put a wide variety of tips on there.

Brushed stainless steel? Yeach!!. Wiy didn't they just leave a raw tailpipe.

I think Ford's official name for it is a "satin" tailpipe.
