I just got two sets of 05 wheels for my 03 F250, does anybody know what size spacers I need to make them right? They rub just a little on the back of the tire. I found spacers that are 1, 1.5, and 2" so which ones do I need? I don't want the tires to stick out funny like the little rice burners used to do. I know spacers are usually frowned upon but I don't tow heavy very often and it was just too good a deal if I could make them work. Thanks.
1-1/2" spacers would be ideal, the difference between the 03 wheels and the 05 wheels is just over 1-1/2".
But measure how far your lugs stick out because if they stick out more than 1-1/2" you will have to cut them down some so the wheels will seat correctly.
2" spacers will be easier because you won't have to cut the lugs at all and the wheels will only stick out a little more than stock and shouldn't even be noticeable.
