Thanks. Was going to order that but it states "This muffler delete will not fit stock exhaust systems. Has 4" Inlet / Outlet" Might have to make my own? I thought i had a bookmark of a stock size 3.5" muffler delete. Maybe not.

Sorry bout that Dan. I wasn't thinking.

Good luck. Some of the big truck shops have larger size pipe.

I dealt with a guy in Long Island, New York. Fast ship and a good product. He had the bends perfect. Let me see if I can find the link.

Here it is: https://www.ford-trucks.com/classifi.../18043/cat/fav
Instead of a straight piece he bent mine with 2 35 degree bends. He had me go out and measure the length I needed(it was 26 inches I believe) and I placed the order that afternoon. It was here at my office by 11:30 am the next day. They even called to make sure I got everything and told me to call them if anything wasn't to my satisfaction. Good people.

When I did my muffler delete I just ordered a 4' section of 3.5" exhaust pipe from JEGS with the appropriate clamps.

Thanks for the info. I went out to take a look upclose with a pic. It appears it is all welded except infront 16" of the muffler. Dang going to take more work than i thought. Have to rethink this now. Thought it was going to be easy.
Looks like a sawzaw will be in order. If i cut the front pipe at the muffler and can it be rotated to align with the tail pipe after i cut the pipe at the muffler?
If so i will order .
x2 Exhaust Connector 3.5" ID to 3.5" OD
4' 3.5" od from Jegs. http://i233.photobucket.com/albums/e...skool/pipe.jpg

Or will i need to orders bends of some sort. Aluminized 45 Degree Elbow 3.5" OD/OD

Jason, How much did it run yea ? Maybe i go that route and give him a call

Call him. I got that some hangers and another 4" pipe with bend in it for my dads early '99 so we could do his 6637. I don't remember what all it cost me. He did the 2x35 deg. bends and flared the ends, and I took it to a shop and had them cut out the muffler and weld up the new section. With the 2 bends you don't have to worry about loosening up and rotating the front section. Be careful if you sawzall it out yourself, that muffler weighs every bit of 75lbs maybe more.

Just called a local exhaust shop. Installed will be $90 or take a 26inch flared at both ends section home for $60....guess I won't stop by the VFW and spend the extra 30 at the shop. Will let ya know how I like it..

Yeah, I originally checked the local Midas, and they wanted $100 just to install the thing I bought. They must have been smoking some wacky weed that day.
