Help With Setting The Automatic Choke

Can Anyone Give Some Tips On How To Correctly Set An Automatic Choke On A 72 F250 360 2bbl?
Can't Sleep Tonight So I'm Writing And Asking.

Thanks In Advance On What Ever Help I Can Get.

I looked it up on line. pretty simple. Spring wasn't hooked on the shaft.

Ya, if it's not hooked up, she no work!

Wait for motor to be absolute cold. Open throttle fully(to get linkage out of the way), turn black housing just til the plate closes fully, might take couple tries to get it just right. Don't over turn it, as it will take too long to open. It needs to just start opening after motor starts. You can fine tune it after you try it a few times. There are little marks on the housing, move it one at a time to fine tune.
