P.S. almost all of the information on the news is way wrong.
Pilot medic and nurse survived ( God was with them) the pics don't do any justice for how bad the wreck was. some day I will be able to share the pics I took at the scene.

Definitely a "Not Good" thing. At least the crew got out of it alive...

I also wondered if it was one of yours........it happened shortly after takeoff right? I think the news said they were leaving Ashfork headed to Flagstaff......that about right? Glad they survived! But in bad shape.....bummer.

From what I could see with image refining, the tail boom looks shortened, the rotorhead and trans look like they disintegrated, top of the fuse is shredded kinda bad, and the turbines...

Plus it's on it's side, so the rotors must have near exploded when they tasted dirt. In fact - if that's the rotor head I'm seeing, the shaft and mounts are bent way off to starboard.

It's hard to tell what's left.

Those people were DAMNED lucky...

The one bright spot in the whole deal is that for whatever reason it doesn't look like it burned.

But that airframe has GOT to be a write-off.

It's pretty nasty looking. I don't have any flight info though.

I don't want to speculate either.

That thing is trashed

I have 300 or 400 pictures of the scene but can't post anything until they are released.
as for the crew I brought the pilot home from Flagstaff today, he is dooing good. he has a limp from the chipped fibia and his face looks like he was in a bad bar fight.
the nurse was in good spirits, he is in a lot of pain from his broken shoulder and fractured vertiba (several are fractured)
medic is in good spirits, had one surgery on pelvis and is scheduled for 8 hours of surgery on Tuesday, if all goes good he should be walking in 2 years.
as for the helicopter!!!!!!!! tail boom broke off in front of tail rotor gear box, one blade seporated and flew apx. 50 feet, the gear box passed the helicopter and landed in front of it. the main rotor gearbox seporated the aircraft on the second roll, one main rotor blade seporated on the first roll and flew 150 to 200 feet sideways from the wreck. the other 2 blades disenagrated on the rotor head but stayed intact to the head and gear box. the engine was ripped out and passed the wreckage, all but one door was ripped off. both wind screens were shattered and gone, the nose of the aircraft is gone, the roof is gone.nurses seat bottom is ripped out of the aircraft. mecics entire seat ripped out and torn in half.
on a good note ther was apx. 80 gallons of Jet A on board with no spill and the oxygen cylinder was not dammaged. (foul spill and 1950 psi of oxygen is bad)
as I have said before God was with them.
sorry for any spellin or gramar errors I am on the kids computer and don't have spell check and I am too tired to care about spelling
