No Max Air
Hello, Maybe some can help me out on this one.
94 Aerostar 3.0 has normal air output but when
I switch to max air it stops blowing cold air.
The unit just blows nothing or warm air...

No Max Air
On the Aerostar, the MAX setting causes a vacuum motor to close the outside vent door. This recirculates the interior air. if yours blows warm/hot air at MAX then the door is not closing properly or your heater vent door is not properly positioned. The vacuum motor for the exterior vent door is located out in the engine compartment and due to a poor design it traps road grit down around the rubber diaphragm which eventually wears a hole in it. Also, the control levers and cables for the interior heater/vent doors are right under the dashboard and are prone to catching coins, pencils and any other debris that slides around on the dash and eventually between the vent registers. You may have a foreign object jamming your cables/levers. Check the easy one first then consider pulling the dash top to check the other. If you're lucky, it could be a loose vacuum line connection somewhere.
