Ok, Some weird "Options"??

Ok, 99 SuperDuty, 5.4,4x4. Plow prep package. It seems mine is the only one I have sen with the old style glass, sealed halogen headlights. Don't get me wrong,I love them, they don't haze up with age. And it also has a factory poly gas tank, that sits right under the midldle of the truck, called "Mid-ship tank". Also like that feature. Just does,t seem common as I look around. Are these a common feature??

The mid ship fuel tank was usually for chassis cab trucks, not sure why yours has one

The halogen sealed beam headlamps came on the "plain jane" XL series of truck. The XLT and Lariat got the composite headlamps with insert bulbs--and they were an option on the XL. Is your fuel tank located behind the rear axle, centered left to right ???

Nope, half way between the front and rear axel, about centered under the body.

Then it is the standard tank, just like mine. It can't be located in the center of the truck, because the driveshaft and transfer case are there. My tank is located just behind the driver's seat on the left (driver's) side of the truck, and the filler door is at the front of the 1/4 panel.

Yep,,You have an XL,,Glass headlights, probobly,,,no power windows, no door pockets,,bench seat ??,,,You also have the same tank as my 06' F-350 4x4 short bed,,29 gallon, basicly in the middle of the truck.

8' bed models have a 38 gallon tank, between frame rail in the rear,,some cab& chassi models have a 44 gallon tank!

My 99 crew cab short box 4x4 has a 55 gallon tank (aftermarket), 44 ain't nothin! I have to go to the bank to sign off on a new loan each time I try to fill up with diesel.
