As some of you guys know, the front of my truck is all messed up since at one time the PO apparently hit a pole moving at a pretty good clip.
I'm working on getting this issue straightened out (no pun intended) over this weekend. However, I just need to know something.
Whatever the PO hit got so far as to also slightly bend backward the radiator support, with a little crack formed in the metal near the middle of it. I have to get the radiator support bent back so that its straight and weld some support pieces behind it to reinforce it. Otherwise, the new grill and valence panel won't bolt on properly.
My question that I need a quick answer for is: Is the radiator support supposed to be perfectly straight from end to end all the way along the face of it, or does it bend OUTWARDS slightly towards the middle like the grill and valence panel do?
Hopefully I can get an answer to this by tomorrow morning as I'll be tackling it first thing come dawn. If someone could just go to their truck and eye down the length of the radiator support and see if its straight or bent for me, I would really appreciate it.
