Where do i tap into the engine to get hot water for the heater core and where do I return the water from the heater core back to the engine?

Not sure what year but there should be a fitting on the manifold right behind the thermostat housing to feed the heater core. The return line is on the water pump. Most old trucks have a hose connected to both of these by-passing the heater core once it starts leaking.
