A/C Help 84 e350
I just bought a 1984 e350 van, 460, with a/c front and back (actually its a class III ambulance). The A/C in back also has heat controls. I know nothing about A/C so I'm here to learn.
The A/C has probably not been used for several years. I am going to rebuild my engine and want to 'rebuild' my A/C and make it R134.
My questions are all related to A/C rebuild or upgrade.
1. Can you rebuild A/C system or is it better to buy a new one?
2. I heard the worse thing for A/C systems are not to use it, should I be concerned about not being used?
3. Do they make rebuild kits?
4. Which A/C system did Ford use for 1984 HD e350?
5. What advise do you have for me to refurbish, rebuild or buy new?
6. Is the system in back connected to the system up front?
7. Any good material or web pages on the subject?
